It was difficult keeping this list to only ten books. I've read some really incredible novels in the past three years, way more than ten, that would qualify as my all time faves. The books below were read between 2012-2015 (not including what I've read so far this year). As you can see the contemporaries dominate my list, mostly YA with a few Adults mixed in (2 from the same author!)
As always, be sure to check out The Broke and the Bookish for more details on this awesome weekly feature.

Yay for Along for the Ride! I love Auden and Eli. :) I still haven't read Clockwork Princess . . . the TMI/TID series are a couple of my favorites, yet I feel reluctant to finish them. I will read CP sometime this year, though. I hope!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you could narrow it down so much! I really enjoyed Along for the Ride (my 2nd fave Dessen book)
ReplyDeleteI've read half of these and really enjoyed them. Along for the Ride was my first ever Dessen.
ReplyDeleteLoved the Blue Eyed Devil and it's great to see it in your list too.
ReplyDeleteTop Ten Tuesday!
Great list. I have only heard of Where the Stars Still Shine and Clockwork Princess, but I see a couple others I may check out. My TTT
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I agree. Narrowing it down to ten was so hard!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to say that I haven't read any of these, but a number of them are on my TBR list. I want to try Lisa Kleypas' contemporary books. I've read her historicals and for the most part really loved them. I still haven't read Clockwork Princess even though I've heard it's wonderful.
ReplyDeleteA Blue Eyed Devil was SO good. Love all of her books to pieces and can't wait for her new one! Although I am still a bigger fan of her historical stuff. CP2 killed me but it was freaking amazing. Best book of anything she has ever written. I desperately want to read Noggin and Where The Stars Still Shine but I absolutely loved Fixing Delilah and Golden.
ReplyDeleteGreat list!!

My Top Ten
Such a great list! I didn't read much of these, but they're on my to read list, so happy to see you liked them !
ReplyDeleteYou can check out my top ten if you have some time : http://wp.me/p5pugy-7u :)
I've never seen anyone mention How To Kill A Rock Star online before. I read it a couple of years ago as well after just picking it up on a whim in my local bookshop. I haven't read God Shaped Hole but it has been on my to-read list for a while.
ReplyDeleteYES YES YES to Golden and Fixing Delilah. Fixing Delilah was my first Sarah Ockler book and ugh, it was so good. The same with Golden-- Jessi Kirby's writing is just so dreamy and words she uses are just so quotable. I literally cannot wait for her latest book.
ReplyDeleteI have Blue Eyed Devil to read sometime :)
ReplyDeleteAlmost all contemporaries! Love it. <3
ReplyDeleteGolden and Blue Eyed Devil are two of my favorites as well. I still need to read Fixing Delilah and Where the Stars Still Shine!
Great list! I love ALONG FOR THE RIDE. There hasn't been a Dessen novel I didn't love. And CLOCKWORK PRINCESS and WTSSS also made my list. :) BREAKFAST SERVED ANYTIME is one I still haven't read, but am hoping to sooner rather than later!
