The other day I was talking to my sister about those iconic teen movies that came out in the late 90s/early 2000's. Maybe it was because we were closer in age to the characters in the films, but for whatever the reason I remember loving those movies so much! I'm about to sound insanely old & say... They just don't make movies like that anymore.
For this week's Top Ten, I thought I'd pick some YA books that made me think of those movies. If you're not familiar with the films I'm referring to here's a few that come to mind: Clueless, Empire Records, Can't Hardly Wait, Varsity Blues, She's All That, Cruel Intentions, 10 Things I Hate About You, Drive Me Crazy, Save the Last Dance.

I love this post. I've read a couple of these books (Bright Before Sunrise, This Lullaby, From What I Remember, and Audrey, Wait!) but you make me want to binge the rest RIGHT NOW. Or at least pick up The Reece Malcolm List.

From your list of recommended reads I've only read THIS LULLABY, but I'd say that's a perfect fit... so I'm looking forward to picking up some of the rest of these. Ahhh, teenage angst. *grin*
