This week's Top 10 Tuesday prompt wants to know which 2014 book releases are we dying to read. I feel like 2014 YAs are heavy on the contemps & that makes this reader VERY happy! So many good YA contemps are being pub'ed next year!!! Are any of these on your TBR list??
Be sure to check out The Broke and the Bookish for more details on this awesome weekly feature.

ReplyDeleteI'm a contemporary girl so YES TO ALL OF THESE. =D
ReplyDeleteYes it really seems like 2014 is the year of YA contemporaries and I think that's great. I haven't been a great contemp reader the past years and I've been meaning to read more contemps, so 2014 is going to be great for that. We Were Liars & On The Fence are on my list as well, but Love Letters to the Dead is on my radar as well (but I totally forgot it for my list!!)
ReplyDeleteJust added Royally Lost to my TBR list! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSo many great books here--We Were Liars and Love Letters to the Dead made my list as well:)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
Oh, what a nice roundup of contemps! My list is heavily sci-fi and fantasy, but I can see that there are some great books coming out in 2014. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLoving the look of these books. My TBR list is certainly growing this week!
ReplyDeleteAhhh! You're awesome, Ginger! Thank you! :)
ReplyDelete2014 really does seem to be the year of the contemporaries!!
This was a tough top ten since there are so many great books coming out in 2014. Isla, Landline, On the Fence, All the Boys I've Loved Before, What I Thought Was True, The Geography of You and Me...can't wait!! ~Pam
ReplyDeleteAs I was reading your list I was like got that one on my TBR list, got that one, got that one, which didn't surprise me because I know we have similar taste, but I was still thinking how crazy it was that all of these are already on my TBR list. Then I got to the last one and I'd never heard of it before, so yay, something new!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to most of the books on your list! Esp. The Geography of You and Me, Royally Lost, On the Fence, and Wish You Were Italian!
ReplyDeleteHeeeeey! This looks a lot like my list!! hehehe I can't believe I have so many contemps on my list, tbh. It's surprising to me!
ReplyDeleteGinger, thanks so much for including NOT IN THE SCRIPT! I'm beyond thrilled that I made your list! And if you happened to get an ARC of WISH YOU WERE ITALIAN, the first two chapters of SCRIPT are at the end of it. You're one of my favorite book bloggers, so please let me know around May if you don't receive an ARC and I'll make sure you get one!
ReplyDeleteAn ARC of NOT IN THE SCRIPT is what I mean. I'm waiting for an ARC of Wish You Were Italian myself! :)
DeleteGreat picks! I am very, very excited to get my hands on Jenny Han's new book and Huntley Fitzpatrick and also really want Love Letters to the Dead!!! I have an arc for #scandal and I am very excited for that one. My TTT
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh I want them all!! 2014 is going to be a fab year for YA contemps me thinks :)
ReplyDeleteGeeeze Ginger, your list is so pretty!!!! Eeeek--- I won't sit here and mention every book, but seriously, there are so many awesome contemporaries coming out next year. I can't wait!! The covers are even pretty considering how cheesy they can usually be!
ReplyDeleteWait! I didn't know this Royally Lost book! Looks good!!! Also: I still need to read that Rules of Summer book, don't I?!
ReplyDeleteCan we talk about how ADORABLE these covers are?
ReplyDeleteEspecially The Geography of You and Me!
