My Top Ten Books I Would Love to See as a TV Show


This week's Top 10 Tuesday prompt wants to know which books we'd like to see as movies and/or TV shows.  I decided to go with just TV shows because it allows the story to continue much further than just 2 hours -- and who doesn't want more from a story they love?!

    Attachments would make a great TV show or a movie kind Pillow Talk Style with the emails.

    i loved stealing parker & i think, if any of hers would be made, that would be the best. i agree w/ my life next door, it was on my list as well. great list :) ~daphne

    I would love to see a Jellicoe Road movie. In fact, I'd love to see any Melina Marchetta book turned into a TV show or movie!

    Great list! I also included the Jessica Darling series and the Summer series as well. I heard they are in talks to bring the Summer series to TV--wouldn't that rock?! My Life Next Door would be awesome as well--loved that book!

    I loved My Life Next Door so I would definitely like to see that as a movie. And I just finished Attachments and loved it. It would be interesting to see how they would do that one. Great list! ~Pam

    You know, I think Attachments would make a good tv show. I also see it as a great Rom Com. Something along the lines of You've Got Mail.

    I think I have to re-read Jellicoe Road soon because everyone keeps mentioning the book on their list but I forget almost every part of the storyline lol -how could I?
    I would also love it very much if they'd do a hollywood remake of Looking for Alibrandi...

    Hmm, Attachments is an interesting choice! Not one that would have immediately jumped to mind, due to the narrative style, but you're right -- the STORY would make such a great movie. It would be interesting to see it reimagined in a different way!

    I completely agree about TV shows versus movies! More time with the characters! More development! LOVE! : ) I haven't read any of the books on your list... : ( though The Summer I Turned Pretty, My Life Next Door, and Jellicoe Road are all on my TBR list.
