Ginger's Shelve It

I've been a big fan of Magan & Estelle's (Rather Be Reading) Shelve It feature for quite some time, so I thought I'd extend my own version here at GReads!  It's a post to feature the books I received recently, re-post links to what's happened on the blog this week, and share any other bookish news.  Thank you Magan & Estelle for allowing me to tag-along with this feature!

The Bookish News:

Lots of books turn movies/TV shows have been popping up lately.  I saw Warm Bodies last weekend (without having read the book) and thought it was really cute!  Really great music through out, as well.  Also, two more book adaptations are hitting the big screen next week: Beautiful Creatures and Safe Haven - both of which I plan to see (but have not read, oops).  The Host will be hitting theaters on March 29th - there's one I read & really enjoyed!  And the biggest news to hit my radar recently?  Jenny Han's The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy will be adapted into a TV series!

  2. I enjoyed Catching Jordan and hope you do too. Jordan did get on my nerves quite a bit but overall it was a fun, light contemporary and I'm looking forward to reading Stealing Parker and more by Miranda. Nantucket Blue and Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality look great but especially The Reece Malcolm List which I'm really excited for after hearing how much Trish loved it. Also, Golden looks spectacular and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy! Enjoy your books :)

  7. I saw Warm Bodies with my sister last weekend and you're right - it was SO cute! I hadn't read the book yet either, but I just had to go and see the movie. I want to buy it once it's out on DVD to watch again. I added the Sarah MacLean book to my TBR because I remember absolutely loving another novel or hers and I've been meaning to get back to reading more historical romance novels. It's been a good 5 months since I last read one. ><

Looking forward to The Host, but I think I'll be skipping Beautiful Creatures. And oh my gosh, I am so happy for Jenny Han! I loved her series and I'm curious to see how they're going to portray this one on the big screen. Enjoy your new books and happy reading!
