The last 2 weeks have been VERY good to me in the book department. Half of the books I received were pre-orders and the other half were from netgalley or an ebook I bought for my nook. Y'all, this is what makes my bookish life so amazing -- getting my hands on those books in which I've been dying to read! But also picking up a book that takes me by total surprise & I fall head over heels in love with it. SO MUCH BOOK GOODNESS!!!!
From NetGalley:
From What I Remember... by Stacy Kramer & Valerie Thomas
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick
Purchased from B&N for my nook:
Until There Was You by Kristan Higgins
Catch of the Day by Kristan Higgins
Books that arrived in the mail (preorders & other bookish treats):
Miracle by Elizabeth Scott
Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson

You got great books this week! I can't wait to read Second Chance Summer; haven't read any of the new Cassie Clare books. I've heard that My Life Next Door is good too! Check out what I got in my book haul
ReplyDelete*GASP* I didn't realize My Life Next Door is on NetGalley! I hope it's not too late to request! I'm so jealous that you've read it already! Though I just realized it wasn't on my Goodreads TBR. It is NOW!

:O City of Lost Souls! Aw, I want so bad to read My Life Next Door! I'm so curious about that one. Happy reading!! :)
ReplyDeleteHoly epic! I can't wait to dive into The Boy Next Door and I need to check out Kristan Higgins after hearing such great things from you :)
ReplyDeleteHooray for Second Chance Summer! I've got it too and am dying to read it - have a few more to read before I can, but also after reading all the reviews (mostly Tara @ Hobbitsies!), I'm a bit terrified that it's just going to break me in half. I've also got My Life Next Door and even though I promised myself I wouldn't read it for a few more weeks, I'm fairly positive I'm going to break that and devour it sometime this week - how can I resist?!
ReplyDeleteFantastic mailbox, happy reading! :)

I REALLY want to read My Life Next Door but have not been approved on NetGalley (at least I think that's where I requested it?) NetGalley hates me lately! At any rate, you got some faaaab books and I do so enjoy your new layout! Very much you. <3
ReplyDeleteMy Life Next Door looks sooo good! I hope you enjoy it as well as everything else you got this week :D
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Kristan Higgins, her books are so sweet and wonderful and a great intro to adult romance.
ReplyDeleteActually, I only read one of her books -- The Next Best Thing, but still I LOVED IT.
AND LOOK AT PRETTY SECOND CHANCE SUMMER! Whoo-hoo!
